Popular Nollywood actress and producer, Funke Akindele, has recently completely released the fifth season of her TV series which was a huge success and she is currently working on Jenifa's diary season 6.
Since the debut, the series has featured a lot of stars like Banky W, Waje, Lolo 1, Falz, Beverly Osu, Lota Chukwu, Alex Ekubo, Ali Nuhu, Toke Makinwa, Juliana Olayode, Amechi Mounagor, Wunmi Obe and lots more.
'Jenifa's Diary" which is a comedy television series that depicts the hilarious sides and amazing adventures of Suliat, a.k.a Jenifa who never seems to be boring for once.
Jenifa who in the play is a secondary school dropout who turned hairdresser and now lives in a backwater town called Aiyetoro, she is loud, over-bearing, very opinionated, and an interesting character to watch that would keep you glued to your screen and wanting more from her.
In a recent interview Funke Akindele revealed that she started "Jenifa's Diary" with the money she made from her endorsement deals. "I used my endorsement money to start 'Jenifa’s Diary’', the popular actress said.
